The Institute of Machining Technology (ISF) has a vacancy for a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to support the experimental field for the operation of CNC milling machines. The advertised position offers you the opportunity to gain first insights into scientific work. For this purpose, the ISF is equipped with extensive machinery and high-quality measurement technology.

Profile

  • You are studying mechanical engineering/industrial engineering (B.Sc.)
  • You have an interest in programming CNC-controlled milling machines
  • Ideally, you have initial experience in the conventional machining of production parts
  • A motivated and independent way of working as well as a high interest in experimental and analytical work complete your profile

 

Tasks 

  • You will assist in the preparation and execution of experimental studies
  • This includes the set-up, equipping and operation of modern CNC-controlled milling machines
  • In addition, you will participate in the design of components and the creation of CNC programs.
